because it preserves numerous noble and bell towers.<br data-start=\"304\" data-end=\"307\" \/>Of great importance\u2014not only historically and artistically but also from an urban planning perspective\u2014is the Renaissance Piazza del Popolo, considered one of the most beautiful squares in Italy.<br data-start=\"502\" data-end=\"505\" \/>Ascoli Piceno is also a bishopric. the Sibillini Mountains National Park.\nSome of the most important buildings overlook the Renaissance Piazza del Popolo, including the Palazzo dei Capitani, the historic Caff\u00e8 Meletti, and the Church of San Francesco.\nAnother beautiful urban space is Piazza Arringo, the oldest square in Ascoli, home to the medieval Baptistery of San Giovanni, the Cathedral of Sant\u2019Emidio\u2014which houses the crypt dedicated to the city\u2019s patron saint\u2014the Bishop\u2019s Palace, and the Palazzo dell\u2019Arengo, seat of the civic art gallery.\nAmong the must-see monuments are: the Roman Bridge of Solest\u00e0, which can also be visited inside; the ruins of the Roman theater; the Grotte dell\u2019Annunziata, a massive construction from the Roman period; the Pia Fortress and Forte Malatesta; and the Longobard Palace with the Ercolani Tower.\nAlso of extraordinary importance in Ascoli Piceno are the two small temples dedicated to the patron saint: Sant\u2019Emidio alle Grotte and Sant\u2019Emidio Rosso.\nNoteworthy is the Church of Saints Vincenzo and Anastasio, with its distinctive fa\u00e7ade divided into panels.\nHowever, it is not only squares and monuments that embellish the city, but also some picturesque streets such as Via Pretoriana, Via di Solest\u00e0, Via delle Stelle, Via Soderini, Via del Trivio\u2014the ancient cardo\u2014and Corso Mazzini. with San Benedetto del Tronto, where then the commitment and the hand of man have been able to enhance the goods that this land has given, offering a landscape definitely perfect for all seasons, especially those sunny and warm because with its avenues of the promenade, the city takes on a purely exotic appearance.<\/p>\n<p class=\"font_8\">In <em>San Benedetto del Tronto<\/em>, there are more than <strong>7,000 palm trees<\/strong> that seem to embrace the air, the people who walk there, the birds that fly there.<\/p>\n<p class=\"font_8\">These large palms are interspersed with oleanders on the fragrant avenues with enchanting floral and marine fragrances. Even the smell of food reaches the senses. Offida has been, for centuries, one of the three most important centers in the world for the art of lace-making.<\/p>\n<p class=\"font_8\">Still today, wandering through the alleys of the ancient village, you can come across women offidane who, sitting at the doorstep, work on the tombolo precious lace.<\/p>\n<p class=\"font_8\"><strong>Offida<\/strong> hosts among the evocative rooms of the former Convent of San Francesco &#8220;L&#8217;Enoteca regionale&#8221;, a lively and dynamic center of initiatives related to
